Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted with Cloudflare (Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 Munich, the European establishment of Cloudflare, Inc., USA) via the Cloudflare Pages service. The provider processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
When the website is accessed, the provider processes technically necessary access data in server log files:
- shortened or full IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- name and URL of the file retrieved, and the volume of data transferred
- notification of the retrieval status
- browser type, browser version and operating system
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in technically faultless delivery, stability and security of the website. This data is not combined with other data sources.
Where the provider processes data outside the EU or EEA, this is done on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Contact via WhatsApp
This website offers links and a QR code through which you can start a WhatsApp chat with us. The QR code is an image stored locally on our own server; merely visiting this website transmits no data to WhatsApp or Meta.
Only when you click a WhatsApp link or scan the QR code does the WhatsApp application open. From that moment, WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta) processes your data under its own privacy terms, over which we have no influence. We process the contents of the chat in order to handle your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns the conclusion or performance of a contract, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for other enquiries. Using WhatsApp is voluntary — you can reach us equally well by phone or e-mail.
Contact form
The contact form on the home page does not transmit any data to our server and stores nothing on this website. On submission it simply opens your own email app with a prepared message (mailto); the email is sent exclusively through your own email account. The section "Contact by email or phone" applies to the subsequent processing.
Contact by e-mail or telephone
If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process your details in order to handle the enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Typefaces
The typefaces used are served locally from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service; your IP address is not transmitted to third parties for this purpose.
External links
This website embeds no maps or other third-party content. The directions link points to Google Maps. Only when you actively click that link do you leave this website; the respective provider is then responsible for any further processing.
Retention
Server log files are deleted after no more than seven days. Enquiries by WhatsApp, e-mail or telephone are deleted as soon as the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way — in particular the commercial and tax law periods of six and ten years under § 257 HGB and § 147 AO.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)
An informal message to the address given above is sufficient to exercise these rights.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.
Status
